Saturday Tasting: Loire Valley Seminar

The Loire River Valley – the longest in France – is home to a wide array of wine regions from Muscadet at the river’s Atlantic mouth to Sancerre in the center of the country. Each appellation has its own unique styles and official regulations. The lovely Chris Barnes will be back to lead us through the Loire Valley’s wine regions, grapes, and styles. In addition to having generally deep wine knowledge, Chris is particularly suited to discuss Loire Wines because they are the first wines that gave him that “ah-ha moment” that starts us all on our love affair all things vinous. He’ll be opening eight wines from across the region to help paint a picture of the broad scope that the Valley offers.
