Saturday Seminar: Native Italian Grapes w/ Master Sommelier Laura DePasquale

Becoming a Master Sommelier takes years of study and dedication; one is in essence becoming a doctor of wine. Laura DePasquale has put in the hours, days, months, and years of study to earn this prestigious and rare certification – there are currently less than 300 Master Somms in the world. Laura is putting her knowledge to work as a wine educator and fine wine portfolio manager for national wine distributor, Southern Glazers. When we found out that she was coming to town we pounced at the chance to host her for a wine seminar. Since she travels the country doing wine education we figured it would be nice for her to choose her subject matter; when asked, her response was immediate: “native Italian grapes, always”.
