We are honored and excited to welcome Matteo Sardagna Einaudi, owner of Poderi Einaudi Winery to Santa Fe. Here’s a rare opportunity to spend time with Matteo and taste through his wines.
Matteo Sardagna, son of Paola Einaudi and Emanuele di Sardagna, Baron of Austro-Hungarian Nobility, did most of his studying in the classic schools of Milano, graduating from the Università Politecnico di Milano in Restoration Architecture. After brief experience working between Bueno Aires and Milano he begins to gradually work aside his mother in the management of the Estate. Since 1998 he has been involved in the “Poderi’s” operation, each year familiarizing himself with the inner workings and all specific aspects of the family business. After his mother’s passing in July 2010, Matteo has dedicated himself to the general management of the winery, the commercial activities and keeping a watchful eye on the production line. In this day and age, Poderi Einaudi has become a benchmark symbol as one of the reference points for Piedmont’s enological practices, not only for it’s heritage and history but also for the level of quality, consistency and amplitude of the wines. The winery always welcomes the future with vigor and foresight preparing itself for the possibilities that may come.
