It is too easy to perceive “red wine” as a singular entity. In reality, red wine is a broad category, ranging from inky dark to verging on Rosé, and all the various shades of crimson in between. The wines for this Saturday’s tasting occupy the light end of the spectrum and they are exactly what we reach for on these bright, brisk days of spring.
