Saturday Tasting: Rosenthal

One of the most valuable things we have learned to take into account when shopping for wine is the importance of the Importer. Most producers zero in on a particular style, or couple of styles, i.e. small producers, specific farming techniques, regions, etc. If one finds a particularly delicious wine, check out the importer label on the back of the bottle; chances are you’ll enjoy other wines imported by the company. Rosenthal, is one of the importers that does it for us – they focus on small producers from great regions – and, in general, tend to import some genuinely tasty wines. We’ll be opening six wines from the Rosenthal portfolio this Saturday so you can find out what they’re all about…
