Louis Roederer is widely considered on of the best ‘Big Houses” in Champagne. They grow almost all of their own fruit – the only purchased fruit is used in the annual Collection series – and they use organic and biodynamic practices in their farming. We will be featuring their wines, including their tête de cuvée Cristal! Some years ago the Roederer family purchased land in Anderson Valley California; they have been making wine in their signature Champagne-style with the Estate-grown fruit from these parcels and we will be tasting two wines from that portfolio as well.
