Saturday Tasting: La Spinetta Wine Seminar

We are excited to host Fabio Longano, brand ambassador for La Spinetta, for a seminar-style wine tasting this Saturday, the 6th of April!

We love Italian wine. Within that broad category we are partial to a few producers that go above and beyond in their quest to hone their craft. One such producer is Georgio Rivetti of La Spinetta, who puts out some of the best Barolos and Barbarescos in the market. La Spinetta also makes some lip-smacking whites, and after acquiring a property in Tuscany, well-structured Sangiovese and an absolutely exceptional Rosé.
Fabio got his start in the wine industry working for his family’s distribution company in Italy. He went on to gain a degree in Culinary Arts and an advanced Certificate from the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers; he has spent the ensuing 23 years working with wineries, importers and distributors. Fabio states, “…meeting a visionary of the caliber of Giorgio Rivetti has reignited in me an immense excitement for the wine business that I haven’t felt in years.
