Saturday Tasting: Sicilian Luncheon with Cantina Maugeri

At this point many of you are familiar with the import company Benvenusa; run by the folks behind Frasca, Sunday Vinyl, and Tavernetta, in Boulder and Denver: Bobby Stucky and Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson. The company started with a strict focus on Friulian wines but has expanded to other regions in Italy, to include Sicily. Lachlan and Gea Calí, Sales Manager for Cantina Maugeri, will be joining us for a seminar-style luncheon featuring Maugeri’s exquisite Mt. Etna wines. This event is particularly special as we’ll get to taste and discuss the wines as well as eat a special risotto prepared by Lachlan himself!
