Saturday Tasting: Back Pocket Wines

Everyone needs to have a few tricks up their sleeves: a couple of fail-safe recipes that can be whipped up without too much thought; one or two go to jokes that are guaranteed to garner a chuckle; and, most importantly in our minds, a few bottles of wine that are delicious, affordable, and — just like that perfect accessory — go with everything! Though the dinner party packed evenings of summer are behind us, it’s still nice to have a couple friends over for a casual get together. When these spontaneous evenings occur it’s important to have a few of these “Back Pocket Wines” at the ready. Our line-up this Saturday will give you a taste of some the go-to wines we’d pop open if some friends just happened over.
