Family Meal: Oaxaca & Mexico City

This iteration of Family Meal will focus on the iconic cuisines of Mexico City and Oaxaca. Mexican flavors and dishes have already laid claim to the American palate and are currently having a moment on the global food scene. So many ingredients have their origins in this part of the world that many international cuisines would be unrecognizable without them: tomatoes, corn, and potatoes, let alone the plethora of chili peppers. With such an abundance of dishes, the hardest part of this meal will be narrowing down which ones to serve!
