Saturday Tasting: Rioja Seminar

Rioja is fast becoming one of our biggest sellers, so we figured it was time for a wine seminar about this vast region in Northern Spain. Roughly the size of Texas and about as varied in landscape, Rioja is a hard thing to pin down. Our local Spanish wine expert Chris Barnes, the national sales manager for Jose Pastor Imports as well as a sometime denizen of our wine shop, will helm this seminar and give you all an idea of the history of the region as well as the scope of its producers and wine styles.
