Family owned since 1810 and 100% estate, Domaines Schlumberger is the largest Grand Cru landowner in Alsace with 4 of the original 25 Grand Crus on the property; KITTERLÉ, KESSLER, SPIEGEL, SAERING. 50% of the 334 acre vineyard is certified as Grand Cru although vines are not used for these wines until they are 15 years old or older. The entire vineyard is farmed sustainably with a large portion farmed organically and over 35 acres biodynamically. 35 miles of retaining wall hold the vineyard together and many parts are so steep they can only be worked by horse.
We are excited to welcome Roland Herrmann of Maisons Marques & Domaines as we present one of the most important Alsace producers. This is a rare chance to taste a selection of wines not normally available in New Mexico.
